Payne Stewart Memorial at Kids Across America
We will offer a tour of the facilities at the Payne Stewart Memorial at Kids Across America on Monday, May 24.
Our group will depart the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing by bus at 8:00 am and return at noon.
The purpose of the Payne Stewart Memorial at Kids Across America is to expose inner-city kids to the great game of golf. Golf is a very unique sport which bases its foundation on character qualities that we desire to instill in all the kids that come and experience KAA. Golf is also a game that has traditionally passed by and is not typically accessible to the urban population of our country. With the help of The First Tee, we would like to change that trend. During their time at KAA, every child will have the chance to come up to the Payne Stewart Memorial Golf & Leadership Complex. This will afford many of them their first opportunity to experience golf. Our hope is that many of these kids will get excited about pursuing the game, which will lead to a lifetime of growth and change. We will use the game of golf to teach the kids Biblical principles and skills which they can apply to their everyday lives. What an exciting piece of the puzzle to add in our kampers experience at KAA!
